Operation:
When power is turned on, baptistry will automatically fill and turn off at proper level. Heater (and pump) automatically turn on and heat baptismal water to adjustable thermostat temperature. Little Giant No. 230 Ground Fault Interrupter

The Little Giant #230 Electrical Interrupter is designed to completely turn off all power to the Baptistry Heating Electrical System if there is a short of only 5 to 6 miliamps. This interrupter completely protects people from electrical shock.

The National Electrical Codes in many states, counties and cities are requiring that a ground fault interrupter must be installed in electrical systems where it is possible for people to be subjected to a short-to-ground condition.

The Little Giant #230, rated at 30A., will handle the 3KW, 6KW, or 11.5KW Little Giant Circulation Heaters. It can also be installed for use with the 6KW Little Giant Immersion Heater, Model SS3-42.

Wiring diagrams are supplied with the Ground Fault Interrupter. Always install GFI as close to the heater as possible. Nipple the GFI to the contactor box or heater cover box.

Generally speaking, the thermal blanket will prevent up to 75% of the heat loss from the water into the sanctuary. The blanket also prevents evaporated moisture from escaping from the baptistry. The 3rd advantage is that the blanket will prevent dust and other foreign matter from entering the baptistry.
